Last year, there were a few problems with this race but even so our men (Jim Thorn, Ian Meadowcroft and Jason Smith) won the team prize despite two of us going 'off piste' at one point. Jim was second overall and Sandra was third woman.

Unfortunately, this year's race clashes with the Sunday Race for Life 5K.

Changes for this year's race include:

• chips are being used;
• entry has to be online;
• extra water stop en-route;
• we are also aiming to remove the stile from the course to speed times (apologies to those runners who liked the rest!).
