|Comments:||A nice, predominantly flat winter sun half marathon in Seville. Race temperatures peaked at about 14 degrees so was very comfortable running conditions.
The race started outside Estadio de la Cartuja (a 60,000 capacity stadium used in the past for the World Athletics Championships).
The first 8-10k was a little out of town and quite uninspiring, after this point the race headeded to the city centre and took in many of the popular sights including Puente de Isabel, Giralda, Seville Cathedral, Plaza de Espana, Metropol Parasol and Torre del Oro.
The half marathon finished inside the stadium with a lap of the athletics track.
Technical t shirt and medal for all finishers for a bargain entry price of 25 euros! I entered this race quite late, so earlier entries would have cost 17 euros.
A field of 9,000 took part and filled up around 4 weeks before race day.
I would highly recommend this event!
